Hello friends I am Sameer and welcome to my blog Sameer Pro Tech. In this article, I will tell you how to turn off autocorrect on windows 11's touch keyboard.
For some folks, autocorrect is a godsend. It can, however, be really irritating at times. You can simply switch off autocorrect in Settings if you have a touchscreen laptop and frequently use the on-screen keyboard. This guide will go through how to disable autocorrect on a touch keyboard on a Windows 11 PC.
Disable Touch Keyboard Autocorrection
When you type, autocorrect replaces the word with a completely another one, which may be immensely aggravating when you know the word you entered is correct. So, if you're having trouble with autocorrect, use these simple steps to disable it:
Step 1: On the taskbar, click the Windows symbol. Select the cog labeled "Settings." (To open the Settings app, press Win + I on your keyboard.)
Step 2: From the left pane of the program, pick Time & Language.
Step 3: In the right pane, select Typing.
Step 4: Toggle the Autocorrect misspelled words toggle the switch off.
BONUS STEP: If you have trouble with highlighted words, you may also turn off the toggle switch next to Highlight misspelled words.
If you change your mind about autocorrect later, you can reactivate it by following the instructions above, but instead of turning the toggle switch on in Step 4, turn it on.
