To delete a single Instagram post on a Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook computer, use the official Instagram site.
Start by opening a web browser on your computer and logging into the Instagram site. In the upper right corner of the site, click the message icon.
You will see a "Chat" page. Here, from the left sidebar, select the conversation in which you want to delete a message. Then, in the right pane, find the message you want to delete, hover over the message, and click the three dots next to the message.
In the three-dot menu that opens, select "Cancel Shipment".
